How it works – Booking Steps Explained

Know all steps for booking a Yacht or Cabin with us

Yacht Booking

Simply book with us anytime the whole yacht for a classic sailing week.
It is our – Rent A Yacht – event
At the same time, following events with own themes also use yacht booking:
– The Great Sailing Escape – Big Chill Sailing –

Whenever you book a yacht, we act as agent between you
and our partner yacht owners or charter companies.

Yacht booking steps are:

  • You send the request by email or by our booking page with your wishes and choices.
  • We contact you if needed, and definitely send one or more non binding proposals by e-mail.
  • You may contact us again to clarify few things or simply request new
    proposals with new choices added.
  • Confirm your booking by returning the email with confirmation note.
    From this step, the booking is binding and in case of cancelation the costs will arise.
  • We send the contract with attached terms and conditions, and the payment instructions.
    Note: As defined in the contract, some of the options will be paid to us, and some must
    be paid locally in cash prior to the event, either to our partners or the crew (skipper & hostess)
  • You send the signed contract and wire the payment within 5 days, and we send the payment confirmation.
  • Reminder for 2nd payment, will be sent to you 5 weeks prior to the event.
    Note: all bookings that happen 5 weeks or less prior to the event, will be paid in 1 paymen only.
  • You wire the 2nd payment and we send the payment confirmation.
  • We send  the request for filling out the travellers data for the boarding
    papers and you send them back filled out.
  • We send travel details of the event 4 weeks prior to the event.
  • With travel details, on the 1st day of the event, you will easily find your skipper/hostess, the yacht and the company that manages it, where you can check in before boarding the yacht.

Cabin Booking

Only in following events and in defined weeks cabins for 2 persons can be booked:
– The Great Sailing Escape – Happiness Sailing – Sri Sri Yoga Sailing –

Cabin can be booked also for 1 person,  but the costs for 2 persons have to be covered.
Note: Cabin bookings are always part of a larger thematic event with additional values and are designed for the group of 8 people in 4 cabins. Such events have much more options included: Skipper & Hostess, Food Package, Yoga program fees, etc.

Since we are not tour operator and can not offer own tours with own cabins, we make it possible for you to book a cabin by creating the waiting list. As soon as the minimum number of people for the event is reached, we guide you all through the booking process where everyone shares the costs transparently. The cabin booking is finally same as the yacht booking process, where we also act as agent between you and our partner yacht owners or charter companies. It is just done collectively and with few more steps at the beginning.

Cabin booking steps are:

  • Contact us for cabin booking and we will send you a note that your cabin is put on a waiting list. With every additional cabin booked, we inform you about the status. 4 cabins need to be booked in total.
  • A short skype meeting or collective group email is done with all cabin bookers when all cabins are booked wherein the team leader icchosen, who will officially book the yacht and be mentioned in the paperwork.
  • Proposal is send to the whole group, wherein all costs are exactly noted.
    Note: As later defined in the contract, the costs for some of the options will be wired to us, some will be paid locally in cash prior to the event: either to our partner charter company or the crew (skipper & hostess). Yoga and Meditations programs are to be paid online. 
     
  • Each cabin booker confirms the booking by returning the email with confirmation note. From this step, the booking is binding and in case of cancelation the costs will arise.
  • We send the contract with attached terms and conditions to the team leader and the contract copy with payment instructions to each cabin booker.

  • Team leader sends the signed contract back and each cabin booker wires the full payment within 5 days. We send the payment confirmation.
  • We send the request to the Teamleader for filling out the travellers data for the boarding
 papers and you send them back filled out.
  • We send travel details of the event 4 weeks prior to the event to each cabin booker.
 

  • With travel details, on the 1st day of the event, you will easily find your skipper/hostess, the yacht and the company that manages it, where you can check in before boarding the yacht.
