When should we book the yacht?

The sooner, the better! By Easter, already 90% of yachts in the Adriatic are booked.

Best before New Year in November or December. Very good discounts are going on also in January and February.There is also much larger choice of yachts and their options.

Also, if you do not need the full summer heat and its high prices, April and May give the best price-performance ratio. And huge discounts on top of that! 

Can we buy flights through Adria Experience?

Currently we don’t work with any airline companies, but you can take a look at

What if I forget to pay my second or final booking fee?

We will send you a reminder in case your payments are not made untill the due date. Only with the completion of the payment is your booking valid. If your payments should delay for any reason, please contact us.

We are fewer than a maximum capacity of the yacht?

If you want to book the whole yacht, we always recommend to leave the saloon (living area) free and use only as much people as many bed places are in the cabins. Including the skipper/hostess. More space is more comfort and there are smaller, nice yachts with 2 or 3 cabins for smaller groups.

What if I prefer someone to cook and clean up for me?

In case you prefer to be fully serviced during your sailing week, you may book a fully crewed yacht (with Skiper and Hostess).

Can I book a single place on the yacht?

Some of our events offer cabin booking in particular weeks. These events are: Happiness Sailing, Sri Sri Yoga Sailing and The Great Sailing Escape.

A cabin booking price is always meant for the whole cabin and that is for 2 persons. If you want to book the whole cabin for yourself, you are welcome. However, the full price of the cabin needs to be paid, so it may turn out a little expensive. Simply let us know that you will be using it alone.

How do I book a whole yacht?

When is the latest I can book my cabin?

If there is still enough space on your yacht, you need to finalise the crew list at latest 5 weeks before your departure.

What about the deposit?

If you decide to book the whole yacht, we recommend you to buy an insurance for the deposit (btw. 100 and 250eur) and skip the whole deposit story.

However if you do pay deposit, you should know the following:

With hired Adria Experience skipper, he becomes responsible for the manoeuvres with the yacht, such as anchoring, sailing, navigating, docking, etc,.. But he is not responsible for any damages caused by the crew. 

If you book the yacht without a skipper, then as a skipper you are totally responsible for any damages that occur on the yacht. 

Generally:  The deposit amount is based on the size and value of the yacht, which is usually in the range of 1500eur to 3000eur. If the yacht returns undamaged, the deposit is fully refunded.

Every yacht has comprehensive insurance coverage with a deductible. The deductible is a specified amount of money that the insured must pay before an insurance company will pay a claim. In the charter industry, the deductible is called the deposit. If the damage claimed on the yacht is 7000eur and the deductible is 2500eur, the insurance will only pay out the difference, in this case 4500eur. The charter industry does not want to carry the risk of the deductible so the financial deposit was created. The deposit is usually equal to the amount of the insurance deductible for that particular boat and is reserved either with a credit card or deposited in cash with the charter company before departure. If the yacht returns undamaged, the deposit is refunded in full.

What If I cancel my booking?

For Yacht Booking:

In addition to the processing fees the following cancellation fees will be charged:

– Cancellation until 35th day before departure date: 50% of the price

– Cancellation from 34th day before departure to the departure day: 100% of the travel price.

For Cabin Booking:

In addition to the processing fees the following cancellation fees will be charged:

– Cancellation 45 to 30 days before departure date: 20% of the travel price

– Cancellation 29 to 20 days before departure date: 50% of the travel price

– Cancellation 19 to 10 days before departure date: 75% of the travel price

– Cancellation 9 days before departure date to the day of departure: 100% of the travel price.
